1. Free-Fun Only — No Real Money
FrontierTrail is a free social entertainment platform. No real money is accepted, collected, or exchanged at any point. Virtual credits are a score mechanism built into the browser-based experience. They have no monetary value whatsoever and cannot be redeemed for cash, goods, merchandise, services, or any prize of any kind. Nothing you do on this platform constitutes a financial transaction.
FrontierTrail does not hold any gaming or gambling licence from any provincial, federal, or international regulatory body, because it is not a gaming or gambling service under any applicable legislation. If you are looking for a real-money gaming product, FrontierTrail is not it.
2. Age Restriction — 18 Years and Over
Access to FrontierTrail is restricted to individuals aged 18 years and over. By confirming the age gate, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you must close this platform immediately. FrontierTrail does not knowingly collect any information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that a minor has accessed the platform, we will take immediate steps to remove any associated data.
Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring and controlling minors' access to internet services, including this platform. We recommend the use of parental control tools and direct supervision where appropriate.
3. Not a Gaming Service Under Provincial Law
FrontierTrail does not constitute a gaming, draw, or raffle service under the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act, the Criminal Code of Canada (sections 201–209), or any equivalent provincial statute. The virtual column format is used as a thematic visual interface for entertainment software only. No element of the platform involves the provision of a chance to win a prize or anything of value.
4. Acceptable Use
By using FrontierTrail, you agree not to: attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the platform's source code, graphics, or content; use automated tools, scripts, or bots to interact with the platform; attempt to access any server, database, or system associated with the platform beyond what is made available through the public interface; misrepresent your age or identity; or use the platform for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial entertainment.
We reserve the right to block or restrict access at our sole discretion if we have reason to believe these terms are being violated, subject to applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property
All original content on FrontierTrail — including the site design, CSS, copywriting, brand name, and logo — is the intellectual property of FrontierTrail and its creators. The Rye and Lato typefaces are provided under the SIL Open Font License. Remixicon icons are licensed under Apache 2.0. Premium round symbols are derived from Game-Icons.net source files, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 (CC-BY 3.0), credited as "Game-Icons.net contributors." Unsplash photos used on the platform are licensed under the Unsplash License.
You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute any FrontierTrail-branded content without written permission.
6. Liability Disclaimers
FrontierTrail is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times, that it will be free of errors, or that it will function identically on all devices or browsers. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FrontierTrail and its operators disclaim liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Because no real money is involved, there is no financial loss that can be attributed to the operation of the platform. Virtual credit balances have no monetary value and their change does not constitute a financial transaction.
7. Privacy and Cookies
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Notice. Our use of cookies and browser storage is governed by our Cookie Notice. Both documents are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Responsible Entertainment
While FrontierTrail involves no real money, we recognize that the visual format of our platform resembles products that may be associated with problem entertainment behaviour in other contexts. We take that resemblance seriously. Our Engage Responsibly page provides information about support resources and self-check questions. Links to certified support organizations are present in the footer of every page. If your use of this or any platform begins to feel compulsive, please reach out to a support organization immediately.
9. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada. If you access this platform from outside Canada, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws. We make no representation that the platform is appropriate or available in all jurisdictions.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform following any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to revised Terms, please stop using the platform. We will not retroactively modify terms in a way that disadvantages users for past actions taken in good faith reliance on prior terms.
